Acquisition Management |
The mission of the Office of Acquisition Management (HAAM) is to carry out the FHWA Headquarters contracting program. HAAM negotiates, awards, and administers a variety of contractual instruments, including contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and purchase orders. HAAM procures technical and professional support services, research studies, analyses, information technology (IT), training, and other goods and services in support of FHWA Headquarters programs, including the Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center and the National Highway Institute. HAAM also develops and implements FHWA-wide acquisition policies and procedures, and provides acquisition training, guidance, and advice to Headquarters and field organizations. ;HAAM manages the FHWA Purchase Card Program the Agency's Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Program.
